Prof. Dr. Stefan D. Anker
Professor Anker has been Professor of (Tissue) Homeostasis in Cardiology & Metabolism at Charité Berlin, Germany, since June 2017. He was Professor of Cardiology & Cachexia Research at Charité from 2002 to 2014, and Professor of Innovative Clinical Trials in Göttingen, Germany, from 2014 to 2017.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schillinger
Medical Director, Chef of Cardiology, Intensive care medicine and pneumology at Helios Albert-Schweitzer-Klinik Northeim, Germany.
Focus: Minimally invasive therapies with heart catheters, cardiac insufficiency, heart valve diseases, coronary heart disease, high blood pressure, intensive care medicine.

Prof. Piotr Ponikowski, MD, PhD, FESC
Professor Ponikowski serves as an advisor and consultant for a range of pharmaceutical companies and has been a member of the international steering/executive committees and endpoint committees of numerous clinical trials.
His research interests focus on the pathophysiology and management of acute and chronic heart failure and recently particularly on the aspects of iron deficiency and reflex control in the cardiorespiratory system. He is co-author of more than 650 peer-reviewed papers, with a total number of citations exceeding 70,000 (h-index=104). He was selected among Highly Cited Researchers by Thomson Reuters in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Professor Ponikowski is based at the Center for Heart Diseases, 4th Military Hospital, Wroclaw, Poland
